Privacy Notice
Last updated: 28 June 2026
This Privacy Notice explains how Amplifyourself.com ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use the Amplify Yourself website and applications (the "Service").
1. Who we are
Amplifyourself.com is the controller of the personal data we collect through the Service. You can contact us at hello@amplifyourself.com.
2. The personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials and authentication tokens (including via third-party sign-in such as Google).
- Profile data: any optional information you add to your profile.
- Content you create: journal entries, voice recordings and transcripts, goals, wins, meeting notes, tasks and tags you choose to add to the Service.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed and timestamps.
- Support and communications: messages you send us.
- Payment-related data: handled by our payment processor (see section 5). We receive a limited record of your purchase (such as product purchased, status and transaction ID).
3. How we use your personal data
- To create and operate your account.
- To provide the Service, including storing your reflections, transcribing voice journal entries and generating coaching insights for you.
- To process purchases and manage Founding Circle memberships.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including support.
- To improve the Service, troubleshoot issues and protect against fraud, abuse and security threats.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service), our legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve the Service), your consent (where required, for example for non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.
5. Who we share your personal data with
- Service providers and subprocessors who help us run the Service, including our hosting and database provider, AI providers used to generate transcripts and coaching insights, and email and analytics tooling.
- Merchant of Record: our online reseller, Paddle.com, handles payments, subscriptions, tax compliance and invoicing for your purchases. Paddle acts as independent controller for the data necessary to process those transactions. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
- Professional advisers such as legal and accounting advisers, where appropriate.
- Authorities where required by law, court order or regulation.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use the content of your journal entries to train third-party AI models.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers may be located outside the UK or EEA. Where we transfer personal data internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or adequacy decisions.
7. How long we keep your personal data
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example for tax, accounting or legal reasons).
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and the right to withdraw consent. UK and EEA users have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We will respond to verified requests within one month.
To exercise your rights, email hello@amplifyourself.com.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We may use limited analytics to understand how the Service is used; where this is non-essential we will ask for your consent. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
11. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
